How will it stop any of that. RM love the fact people start early and work through breaks. Managers already know it happens now but do nothing about it.

AHDC, once or if it gets set up in DOs in particular, will provide RM with accurate data as to signing in and out as well as timings for individual tasks such as doing the IPS etc. Currently they have to rely on the signing in sheets which rely on posties being truthful as to what they write down. At the moment it varies from posties coming in early but writing their official start time down to posties writing a later time than they have actually finished.
Every manager and union rep I have ever heard speak has always said to not rush around too much and to take all your breaks. The AHDC could be used in conjunction with PDA actuals to fix many problems such as uneven deliveries and unpaid work. I'm a born pessimist but please note my optimistic stance here.

It will never happen for one reason. If it was ever introduced then everyone would just do the absolute bare minimum amount of work that they can get away with and be incredibly slow.

As I have said before I am so glad that I am out of all this, rogue management will use this as a stick for even more bullying, especially for those they they have it in for,and the favourites will still get away with everything.
