Day Off

If my day off is due to fall on Tuesday 25th or Wednesday 26th December, Tuesday 1st January or any other bank holiday am I entitled to another day off that week and if so can it be one of my choosing ?

If its the same as my Place - yes if it was a rostered day off or annual leave you get in back later on.

No we cant use it that week unless there is spare capacity.

Yes it's your right to have the neerest day off i always have it on the following day they will try to pull the 'operational needs' trick but after all others will have there days so you have every right to claim it the day after or else you could say that it's discriminatory

Yes you are entitled that day off back as it falls on a bank holiday. On which day you want to take it I guess depends on your 'management team'. Good luck!

managers easily forget to put it down so make sure they do.

If your on A/L on these days you get them back on next years leave

Same if its your rest day ,but you also have the option of a days pay which you should get the following week.

8 hours overtime or a day in lieu if your day off falls on a bank holiday.
