Scotland Vs Italy...

Post by MartinMail »

DOM told everyone today that on Friday and Saturday, if we have our ID badges all postmen/women are allowed to wear Scotland tops etc. Not too bad an idea, think I'll wear my '78 World Cup top.

Our team right now isn't that bad, in fact only Romania separate Scotland and England in the fifa world rankings. Not too shabby, eh?

Not the 78 one! God no! You'll have to grow your hair and perm it.

That was a great goal, one of the best I've ever seen. It almost erased the memory of Peru and Iran, but not quite.
Was it 1978 that some Dutch striker scored a goal from about 40 yards? Or am I hallucinating again, damm this old age!
Anyway, come on the Jocks!
Maybe I'm being pessimistic, but I think we'll draw with Italy (they'll equalise in the last minute with a dodgy penalty or off side goal and we'll go out) while England will qualify because of some new rule change which gives them another 6 points for having a useless coach and injury prone clumsy strikers! Oh well, there's always next time, again. :cry

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

No, and we're keeping the turf as well. One of my mates dad had a piece of Wembley turf and planted it in his garden, it went brown and died, a bit like the team did. :nana

ps. come on Israel!
