Hi guys. Some advice needed please.

I applied for a Postman/woman with Driving role at my local DO on the 8th of January. The position was took off the job site last week, but on my profile it still says Testing Complete. They are interviewing on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of January, which is not far away. Is it worth e-mailing myapplication@royalmail? Or will that come across as too impatient?

Thank you.

No problem pal :)

I have another application too, with the interview date also the 29th. That still says Testing Complete too.

I can't help either of you but I can say that I applied for a position back in November, took the online test and waited. The interview date was in November and the position still shows "testing complete " on my profile.

Sorry, I should of explained a bit more.
I applied for 2 positions at the same time, one of them resulted in an interview where I was put on the waiting list. The other one had interviews scheduled for the following day.
I'm not sure wether the other position has been filled or if RM have just forgot about it but it is still showing on my profile.
I suspect that it's no longer available but seeing it still there gives me a little hope lol.

Ok, thanks for that... I read your post as though you did the test and that was it, you heard nothing.
Are you still on the waiting list?

I have just had an Email stating that I do not meet the criteria required, which has shocked me, as I really belive I do.
They haven't even given me the chance of an interview, nor have they offered me an explanation of why they believe I do not meet the criteria.
I am honestly gutted.

Sorry to read that pal. But don't give up hope. I have read of people being knocked back multiple times, but still getting the job eventually.

What DO was it at if you don't mind me asking? I have still not heard anything yet.

I'm gutted for you too David8732 but as previously mentioned, don't give up. I didn't get an interview until my 5th application.
It does appear to be a long process needing a lot of patience but hopefully worth it in the end.
