According to the article, the CWU have been fighting for this since 1958. Somehow, I don't think that the current Gov't will be giving this any time - especially with the current state of the nation!

Anyone know if this bill passed the other day? I don't see why it shouldn't especially as Ireland supposedly already has this legislation in place.

Bear in mind that this was read immediately before Jezza's proposal for a vote of no confidence in the Govt. there may have
been a lot of MP's listening to this rather than the normal tumbleweed view of the HoC we see when all the MP's have gone
to use their expenses in the Commons Bar and local restaurants......

So it's got past the first post. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be past into law so doors can no longer be bought with letterboxes on the ground.
