Well all I can say is you are not treating the customers right.

Each xmas I received many hundreds of pounds, wine, spirits, cigarettes (I smoked then), slippers, bob hat and scarf and hundreds of good wishes. When I left a delivery I had been on for about 8 years some of my old customers got a collection up for me. I'm not sure if that was because they were sorry or glad to see me go.

One young girl who was at school when I delivered to her parents has left school, married and been to dental school and is now a dental nurse for my dentist.

I feel really old.

Errr No - Council estate lots of chavs etc. So far this year

1 Armed siege
2 Stabbings
1 Shooting
3 Cars Burnt Out
1 Caravan Burnt Out
1 Suicide
at least 10 people I know off imprisoned
3 Houses set on fire

In fact I may just be the only one on there on a regular basis who works. Thing is I get on well with most of them and probably would be embarrassed if they tried to give me anything.

First Crimbo last year, on the round for three months ( that's how long I'd been in Sevenoaks ), sucked up and posted cards through all the doors & walked away with £350, a bottle of beer & 4 bottles of wine! :dance
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?

Mail delivery; those that can, do, those that can't, MANAGE!

Have you ever thought of handing in your weapons and stop setting fire to things though - ? :funneh

Or at the very least moving further north - it may be colder but it's a lot nicer people the further north you go - I mean Santa lives at the North Pole!!!!

Do all the things that Royal Mail don't want you to !!!

Talk to your customers - go back round with packets when you know they'll be in - sign recorded's for them and post them through the box - learn their kid's names - put light bulbs in for old ladies - become part of their community - be a human being and smile no matter how s**t a day it is - if you make them feel better, they make you feel better.

You've got it! The customers need to know you very well and you them. In America there is a peckin order of who you should tip and by how much and when - it was shown on UK TV a few years ago - that year everyone must have assumed everyone else was tipping!

On my best delivery my first pouch used to bring in £100 plus goodies - course I am a very nice man ;liar
