It's getting near Christmas and we still haven't heard about working over Christmas period.
Nights will have Christmas eve off and normally tend to pay it back by working on a Sunday or in on Boxing night.
There has also in the past been the opportunity to take annual leave.
What is happening in other offices...It's getting a bit close...

Don't know about other shifts.
Our night shift is back Boxing night and New Years night at 21.00 (Bank holiday rules Lieu night or BH pay).

I FEEL A LOT OF SICK PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE ON THE PHONES SOON. WHY TAKE A DAY OF TOO. PLAY THEM AT THE GAME. IT'S A KNOWN FACT THAT RM WHEN NEGOTIATING WITH THE UNION'S ON PAY RISES TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THAT THE AVARAGE WORKED IS OFF SICK 12 DAYS PER YEAR. IT'S FACTORED IN. THEY DO NOT THINK ANY BETTER ABOUT YOU IF YOU STRUGGLE INTO WORK AND HE THE MR/MRS RELIABIL. IN FACT, THEY PROBABLY THINK YOUR A BIT OF A T.T AND WILL STILL BIN YOU IN A SECOND. ANY DOUBTS ON THAT FRONT, WELL JUST LOOK AT HOW THEIR TREATING LONG SERVICE STAFF THESE DAYS. THEY WANT YOUS........OOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTT.
