Knifeman hijacks Royal Mail van and steals it as postman completes rounds

A man has been arrested after a Royal Mail van was hijacked and stolen in Mullion, Cornwall

Police received reports of a man with a knife, who had stolen a post van at The Common at about 1.43pm on Wednesday, while a postman was completing his rounds.
Nobody was injured in the incident and the vehicle has since been recovered.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "There was a report of a post office van which had been taken by a male offender with a knife.
"One man is now in police custody and the vehicle has been recovered. Nobody was injured."
A man is now in police custody and awaiting questioning over the incident.
