you forgot
I'm on MY side. RM don't employ, so I couldn't give a toss what the 'management' side and 'your' sides are. I never did anyway - I just had my opinion, sometimes it was on 'theirs', sometimes 'yours', but whatever I felt and said, it was always MY opinion.
Shame then, that they prefer spineless twits who never question anything.

in what way is who shafted?
We moved people around when leavers/retirees come through. we all are, I reckon. I wouldn't be surprised if for the next five years they'd redeploy people through MTSF and didn't have any new hires on the front line - by then, with 10k t/o of staff per annum, that would mean a real terms shrink of 50,000 people.
