Can anyone shed light on the agreement for the depot clearance bonus,,and what the criteria is for withholding this bonus,,?
If the workload is so heavy that the drivers simply cannot clear their routes, and are going over and above their route target on a daily basis, and the management simply refuse to add extra resource to take up the slack, then surely that is a management issue and not driver failure?
Would management failure be a valid excuse for withholding the depot clearance bonus,,and have any other depots been affected by this deliberate action to withhold this payment ,?
The irony is that in the quiet months after peak, the bonus is usually paid,,but from March onwards, its not,,and with the influx of new drivers who will have never received this bonus, they will never miss it,and its in danger of being lost forever,,as the saying goes,,DEATH BY A THOUSAND CUTS.,,

Depot Clearance Bonus
What, because your clearing your parcels due to being less than normal. Basically just going back to being a job with reasonable expectations and not with parcels hanging off the roof. What a perverted bonus. The harder you work when the parcels are heaving= no bonus, but very light easy time= bonus. GREAT, the clowns who thought that one up surely will have had their baws booted. Oh wait, it's RM. nagh, they have been PROMOTED and coming to an office near you, FFS.
