Employee payroll number-no pay!!

Post by Tyneandwear »

Hi just seeing if anyone can help with this as I am not getting anywhere and nobody at Christmas recruitment is helping or where I work .i am into my 3rd week of employment and still not had any pay.all I get told is that they need my payroll number but I don’t have it coz I still have not had my welcome pack.I just keep going round in circles and need it because I literally have no money to get to work.does anyone have any contacts or ideas on how I can get this information please?

Is that for the HMRC new starter and other forms. I got a formal email letter with this link on.

https://www.royalmailgroup.com/en/peopl ... -frontline" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

In an email titled your offer of employment.

It said to send them back ASAP or with your contract which should arrive 1 week before.

I have waited for the contract before sending as a few forms ask for payroll number. I emailed the documents today and had a reply to say sorry for the delay due to the high number of vacancies it is taking a while to get contracts sent out and to hold on to forms until I receive the contract.

So that might help but no doubt I could well be in the same situation as you in a couple of weeks. My induction is Tuesday.
