Royal Mail Perks - Shopping discounts

Post by thornebt1 »

Hi. For years I have had a Sainsbury's reloadable gift card which I get 5% discount on when I top it up via the Royal Mail Lifestyle Benefits site. I now cannot find the site, which is run in conjunction with PM&M? Can someone please post a link to it. I normally just search for Royal Mail Lifestyle Rewards but I can't now find the site!

I don't think that site is anything to do with Royal Mail?

I just managed to speak to RM Lifestyle Rewards. There was a data breach in September and the Lifestyle Rewards site was shut down. It has been relaunched under the 'Hapi' banner. There are no reloadable cards available to RM employees - only E-Vouchers. As far as supermarkets go you can get 3% off Tesco and 4% off Waitrose - no good to me!

None of this was communicated to Royal Mail employees.

Can't you just log in to the link I posted or register and still get 5% cash back card at Sainsburys. Thats what I do. I'm sure originally the RM directed me to that site.

Or maybe I'm talking about something different?

Definitely not as good as it used to be - I had Tesco card (which was 4% and then 5% off sometimes) and Love 2 Shop reloadable which was about 7% and could
be used at all sorts of shops on the High Street. Disgraceful that nobody has communicated that there has been a data breach and if any
personal data has been compromised.

My Asda card which still has 160 quid on it has stopped working. We need to get to the bottom of this.

First I'd check that you can still see the balance on the card at: https://cards.asda.com/Card/TransactionHistory" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

My card transaction history is still visible but fortunately I had zero balance left on it.

Thanks for that.
It still shows the balance. I'll ring up tomorrow and see why they've locked the card.

Wouldn’t accept mine at the normal checkout in Asda about 3 weeks ago but a very helpful lady took me to the customer services till and they got it to work there.

It’s pretty crap just to withdraw this benefit and maybe even be blocking cards that still have a balance on without any explanation. Even more worrying if it’s because of a data breach and there’s been no explanation of exactly what information was breached and no apology.
