Part timers in December

NewPostieUK wrote:We (part timers in my office) thought we were on full time hours, as we were starting at the same time as full timers. It turns out the goal posts were moved, and we just got paid the hours we worked. So if you worked with a full timer on a van share and finish time was meant to be 3:30 and you finished at 3:30 you got full time hours for that day. If you finished at 3:00, you got 1/2 hour less, whilst the full time still got his full pay.
Of course it didn't happen much as it is a busy time of year, but still hardly fair, and of course, pro-rata bonus.

Tell them to go f..k themselves if they treat you like idiots. I cannot believe what happens in RM these days. Also I can't believe how much s**t some posties actually take, like not getting paid for example. It really sticks in my stomach and this is where the union need to act, not at big headline grabbing tea and sympathy meetings where they slap each others back and drop a few soundbites. :evil/mad

My contract has never been changed in December, I’ve done more than full time hours with overtime and I’ve always had the extra bonus paid in January. It can be done if your DOM wants to do it.
