If you continually work overtime it shows that your office needs more hours. Those hours will be given out based on seniority.

My Office still uses seniority when trying to sort duties.
A previous DOM tried to parachute 3 of his favourites into FT Duties on the quiet.
All that was needed was a visit from the Area Delivery Rep, who pointed out that these duties should be advertised internally.... And allocated on SENIORITY..... and this is what happened.
Our recent "Internal Revision" (so called because the DOM must have plucked it out of his arse) was resigned for entirely by SENIORITY. Admitedly it was a pretty stressfull time, and a few posties were upset, but I can't see how it could have been dealt with more fairly.
Perhaps put all the duties in a hat and pick one out?

Like all Wage Slaves, he had two crosses to bear: The people he worked for and the people he worked with! (Stephen Vizinczey.)
