Best boot was Doc Martins and the best shoe was Clarks but they got to expensive so they started supplying crap that is why so many postal staff have problems with thier feet.

New RM shoes

The new shoes are comfortable, however, a bit of rain and they are hopeless, very slippery. Had them 2 months and are starting to come away at the toe.

The boots are comfortable but not good on wet surfaces - particularly stone or tile steps - take care, the sole compound needs to be rethought.

If these new shoes are no good in the wet the buyers for RM should be sacked. Surely trials where done. If they can't get that right. Talk about a waste of money employing these wasters.

So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

If your shoes are slipping in the wet ask your manager he'll give you some sandpaper to roughen the sole :cuppa

Update - the zips have fallen apart - what are they for anyways - quick access to the broken ankle when they slip in the wet????
