Just looking at that list, it's going to be very hit and miss as to if it arrives in time to go out, chances are it's going to arrive too late to have any chance of being processedzipmeister wrote:List of current and upcoming LAT units

I really hope they have factored in Xmas. It's crazy normally then let alone a new product which seems to be rolling along nicely.

Wow, so our LAT guy shouldn’t be out delivering letters till 8?? Poor guy must get 100’s if “oooo your late today”
Also he queried about late Alloance, as he does 2-8, someone said he’s going to be doing 1.45-7.45 instead, isn’t that just pathetic? Surprise he does what he does, they treat him like a right mug.

People don't like answering the door in the dark. I know I wouldn't if I wasn't expecting someone. RM shouldn't be trying to push us into delivering during the evening/in the dark. Last Christmas we were told to come back once it got dark whether we had finished or not.

Agreed. A lot of vulnerable, elderly people could be frightened by posties knocking on their door in the evening, especially around Halloween time. Then there is the issue of compromised health and safety - more likely to trip up in the dark, be attacked, etc.Celgar wrote:People don't like answering the door in the dark. They probably had the hump because RM apparently told them not to put all there parcels through LAT like they did the other week. Since then there hasn't been many to deliver.Jamiechelt wrote:newlook have gone apparently, but another has come over.

Trial period is up in 2-3 weeks time. Has the last 9-10 weeks been a success overall?

in our DO I'd say no... the guy travels over an hour and 30 minutes away for some parcels, and one day was told to leave all local ones and someone else would do them, guess which ones failed.. all the local town parcels failed,Wild Rover wrote:Trial period is up in 2-3 weeks time. they do nothing but give the s**t that didn't go out to the LAT guy, while people are still finishing early, he nearly walked out today, think manager managed to calm him down a bit. Doubt he'll be back for the rest of the week, he's actually pretty good at his job, maybe too good, told him to slow down lol, but finding some of these randomly named houses going way out of the town and even county, most people wouldn't put half as much effort in.
Can see why he's annoyed though, shouldn't be having stress with it though.

The trial period is a bit irrelevant now tbh as MC duties are being permanently adjusted to take LAT traffic in account. They wouldn't be doing that if there was a chance of LAT being axed after the trial periodWild Rover wrote:Trial period is up in 2-3 weeks time. Has the last 9-10 weeks been a success overall?
