Fair play to you, I paid for my own Cat C training, then DCP for C+E, passed in October, still haven't got a job driving. Fed up.

I think quite a few people are in the same position.
Royal Mail spend nearly 2k on the class 1 training, and then they don't use the "Fully qualified Royal Mail staff"

I've got a question, unlike the previous years where the VOC you trained at found a job for you, last year's DCP trainees are expected to apply for any jobs within a certain distance of their home, and not necessarily tied to the VOC they trained at?

Tied in for 2 years with repayments if you leave Royal Mail.
They would expect you to apply if its less than 1hr away to work.
You can apply anywhere you wanted....

Still only the one job within an hour of my home... there's jobs available at my local VOC but nothing is being advertised.
