more so since the late starts come in.
i was one of the ones who used to work my day off but im sitting at home typing this instead ;)
I used to be much the same, not any more, im actually finding the job quite relaxing these days, this morning i had one of my busiest days sorting mail into the frame, dum told me just to take out the 1st class
The frame is heaving for the postwoman tomorrow and i know she won't take it out either

Well done, you can only do, what you can do, in the time allowed. Don't let it get you down, your DUM gets paid for that.ray of sunshine wrote:I have been doing to time for the past 4 wks and its either been left in for me to take out next day or someone has been taking it out.
Today 2 bags were left in and i got back to the office at 2pm and mail was still in my fitting![]()

Took out yesterdays mail today, had 6 bag drops, it took me well over 4 hrs to do.
The only trouble is i am having customers complaining they are having no mail like ie yesterday.
And when it does come its 3pm in the afternoon.
i have tried to explain i cant do a 3 and half delivery in 2 hrs 20 mins!
It is my fault no one wants to take the rest of the mail out on overtime and it left for me next day??????

Ask your DOM for a contact number for complaints and give them that number. He can't refuse I believe but he wont be happy.ray of sunshine wrote:Took out yesterdays mail today, had 6 bag drops, it took me well over 4 hrs to do.

I just give folk the customer services number now wether i am out on delivery or doing the callers office, phoning the dum to complain is pointless
I don't think customer services are much better to be honest
