If you're finished early then you need more loops. If you're claiming legit overtime you need less loops. PDA actuals will eventually get this sorted. Come in on time. Do your job properly and you've got nothing to worry about. If you're against this then you obviously have an easy life at the moment and don't want to work to rule.

Despite the “PDA Actuals are in” brief, we had senior folk on cushy rounds finishing 90mins early today for the football.

Same time we got new starts on rough routes battling with gaffers over 30mins booking of actual docket.

Never before have I seen a manoeuvre by RM that look set to tackle that. Gonna be fun.

Test letters are different and not connected to PDA actual data. But if the two were combined and the test letter wasn't delivered you would be in some trouble. The data isn't supposed to be used on an individual basis but there is a question whether it cannot be used that way. I think management higher than DOMs will be used to do it.

I know it's a pain but we all have to have the PDA with us walking up to every letterbox or delivery point. The data is being collected now so it needs to correct. If the PDA is in the van and you are walking about delivering to a load of houses that work will not be registered. If they act on that data at a later date you could end up with more work added to your walk when it shouldn't be.

Maybe they should just fit all posties with an ankle tag or better still a FaceTime body cam, problem solved.

A majority vote off a low turnout which doesn't include Postie's who were not members of the CWU. It could be argued that the result was unrepresentative of the workforce.

Lots of postie's at ours I've noticed log off as soon as they've posted last letter, some as soon as they get back to office. And almost all of the office take 20 mins at end. Wonder what the data would say about this. Interesting times ahead.
