How's the Network 18 going where you are? We've been failing some days and once autumn pressure starts i can't see us ever clearing, probably a good half of all sections will fail every night. Depending on how it plays out in the autumn, even the specials might possibly fail

we have been failing for months on nights but since changes to network we are clearing. Is this due mail drop we will see in come september when mail tends to increase. We have problem with specials and tracked due to to heavy last arrivals but most of the night we struggle for work as most of the work not in office until after 4am. Can see shift finish times changing come October to take this into account a later finish looks likely.

Realistically the latest time that we can have the main dispatch is about 06:30, any later than that and any 9am specials to some DOs would always fail. We can't have the inward setup much past 06:00 as the space is then required for the 2C outward. It could end up with a big increase in the number of part-time duties in the long-term

Not very well at Medway
I work on the early shift and we just do not have the bodies to fill the lorries new despatch times which has resulted in bulk outs on the later vehicles.
We have also switched to processing our bulk on the gravity rollers which has also been a disaster resulting in work not being scanned.
Our shift manager has been seen down on the tray seg along with the warehouse manager sorting the bulk.
Nights are also having problems with later arrivals resulting in them not being able to clear the inward.
Not sure about the late shift think they are ok as new twilight duties have been put in.

Our MC has failed the specials twice in the last two weeks. Saturday 24th we failed by 2500 items and last Thursday we left 700 items. The early shift cleared some on the Thursday failure but none were cleared on the Saturday fail, and were delivered Monday. Both failures due to late arriving vehicles because of accidents and motorway closures. Both of them on our last two vehicles. This revision is going to cost the business big in compensation and loss of faith in the service. We have worked out that 60/70% of our arrivals now come after 0300. That gives us only 2 1/2 hours to clear approx 5 to 6K specials.
