This is a grey area, in that we're not really all that skilled. We have only been given a certain amount of training in-order to carry out our duties, and it is our day-to-day, common-sense and down-to-earth approach that we are able to service our customers as best we can. Now, not everyone would be able to match these qualities, and still have the capability to do a physically demanding job with no real prospects of advancing oneself up the career ladder. Though to be honest, this wouldn't be the career for that.

I'd like to think that we are semi-skilled. I am, or was a semi-skilled diesel fitter. I am also a webmaster of sorts, but there is no need to explore this avenue.

It's not a question of who would want to do this job; it should be, who would be more suitable. We can, and should take out of the equation, anybody and everybody. Why? Because not everyone is both hardworking, honest and thoughtful.

There are people in our business who do have qualification, and who are able to do other jobs. We work with some fantastic people who probably deserve more, but for one reason or another they are here -- working alongside us. It's amazing really that we have people like this -- that's all of you, and I wish I had the means (if I was responsible) in which to reward you in a more befitting way.
