Hopefully that will force them to put extra hours back into delivery offices. They have been aggressively taking out hours over the last few years and giving us the old mails down excuse.

Ah yes! Thank you for that I'd forgotten , probably about 500 years too late though. Still never mind , it will last about a week when the managers realise that they can't cover overtime and posties take their time so they don't get back early, and get sent back out again for no extra. What a glorious metaphysical conundrum. Things could be about to get interesting

Since they stopped time and half for overtime, its only right you get paid more hours than worked.

Don't touch a half round for anything less than 3 and a half.

If they don't want to pay that then they can take it out themselves. The would employ a part-timer to take that out and would cost them more than they are paying you. So don't be their mug.

And if you've got time to be doing regular overtime then you should get yourself a contract somewhere that pays you holiday pay, sick pay, and pension. Overtime don't.

It's the end of goodwill. RM think all these changes are going to save them money but a lot of work has been done unpaid for years. If the new systems of calculating and observing how the job is completed are honest & correct then RM is in for one hell of a shock!
