security checks

hi all ive got through all the aasessments interview etc. ive just had e-mail asking for permission to do a driving licence check. how far am i away from a start date does anyone know what other things they check. cheers darren

I received my dvla code request on 25/5, my conditional offer (subject to DBS clearance) on 29/5 and my formal offer on 13/6. Start date is 9/7.

thanks for that DBS check wont be a problem been a good lad all my life. so i should be ok then? what happens next?

After I sent the DVLA code, I received an email saying they were starting the security checks and to send a photo for my ID card.

I think the wait after that is dependent on how long it takes them to sort an induction date out, mine only took 5 days but others have waited much longer.

I’d say approx up to another 6 weeks

latest e-mail said 2 weeks i guess thats just the checks. its a long process for a part-time job hope theres overtime so i can do full time hours
