And inside the postal service if personal experience is anything to go by. I know someone who lost one ,nothing happened somebody else I know of smashed their screen accidentally when they were newly introduced, it happens ,don't worry about it.NWpostie wrote:Its useless to anyone outside the post service.

Not had any lost in our office, but plenty with cracked screens and even cracked scanners! A couple of times I've been incredibly dimwitted and left it on the roof of the van and driven a few miles and luckily by some force of devine intervention, it stayed in place

I've done that with a bundle of mail, with no elastic band on. Luckily I was only driving about 100 meters. Still didn't end wellChewster wrote:Not had any lost in our office, but plenty with cracked screens and even cracked scanners! or popping it on a wall, that works fine too. again, if its in a holster how can you possibly leave it on a wall other than by taking the holster off or taking it out? and why would you need to take it out the holster apart to maybe reboot the thing? if its in your pocket you'd need to take it out to scan a packet and you might leave it on a wall. a fear of holsters is pretty new i think.

They are a thing, apparently, but a bit like the Loch Ness Monster or Bigfoot. There have been claimed sightings and there is pictorial evidence, but trying to actually locate one will simply just leave you doubting any actual existence.Xr4 wrote:What are these holsters people are talking about? Never seen one!
