Send Angard 10 emails, get 10 different answers or none at all depending who looks at the email. In 2016 the delay in getting the rise compared to RM staff was supposedly due to working out the back pay. It amazes me when you talk to other Angard staff that they don't realise the rise isn't optional and it will have to be paid at some stage. By delaying the rise Angard and RM are only increasing the back pay payout required. I've emailed them again for an update but no reply so far. I keep telling people at my MC to email Angard asking when the rise will be implemented. The more people that ask and Angard might actually cough up the date, they must know.nothingatthemoment wrote:Why "waiting" on confirmation from Royal Mail would come into it I don't know

Pay Rate Increased?
What happens to staff who leave Angard in between now and a back payment being made? Will they still be entitled to and receive the back money?

You will still be entitled to any back-dated pay up until the day you leave.Lockardian wrote:What happens to staff who leave Angard in between now and a back payment being made? Will they still be entitled to and receive the back money?
But you may be in for a fight with Angard , as you will no longer be on Angard's payroll.
It's best to try and stick it out for other few weeks , as I can't imagine it will be easy after you have left.

As a CWU Member, I have emailed them to ask if they could bring some pressure to bear on Angard to have these payments expedited.
Not expecting too much, but it’s worth s try.

The latest according to an email I received is that Royal Mail is reviewing the financial plan by Angard to pay the back pay/increase and Angard are waiting for approval by RM to go ahead.
