8th time of applying
This has been the 8th time I've applied for a local depot in the last 5-6 years. Bar an interview back in 2013, I almost constantly get an email the following day saying I've been unsuccessful. I deliver shopping for a supermarket and have over 11 years of experience, what exactly am I lacking to not at least be given a shot at Royal mail? I have a few friends scattered in local depots and they keep saying it's great and to keep trying but 8 times?!

Do you not even get asked to complete the two online tests ?Bopper587 wrote:This has been the 8th time I've applied for a local depot in the last 5-6 years. yeah i get to the tests each time. give them my full attention. doesn't seem to make a difference. Few folk think there's some sort of blacklist. Purely because since my interview in 2013, i've not come near getting another. it's depressing.Daveyj15 wrote:Do you not even get asked to complete the two online tests ?Bopper587 wrote:This has been the 8th time I've applied for a local depot in the last 5-6 years. Transfers and waiting list candidates get priority, you may just be unlucky...Bopper587 wrote:yeah i get to the tests each time. give them my full attention. doesn't seem to make a difference. I’m in a similar situation. I keep applying but don’t seem to be getting anywhere. Is it best to apply for one job at a time or just apply for multiple jobs at once? Or does it not make a difference?

Happy to say I've been invited to an interview this week. Fully focused on it now.
