8th time of applying

This has been the 8th time I've applied for a local depot in the last 5-6 years. Bar an interview back in 2013, I almost constantly get an email the following day saying I've been unsuccessful. I deliver shopping for a supermarket and have over 11 years of experience, what exactly am I lacking to not at least be given a shot at Royal mail? I have a few friends scattered in local depots and they keep saying it's great and to keep trying but 8 times?!

Do you not even get asked to complete the two online tests ?

yeah i get to the tests each time. give them my full attention. doesn't seem to make a difference. Few folk think there's some sort of blacklist. Purely because since my interview in 2013, i've not come near getting another. it's depressing.

Transfers and waiting list candidates get priority, you may just be unlucky...

I’m in a similar situation. I keep applying but don’t seem to be getting anywhere. Is it best to apply for one job at a time or just apply for multiple jobs at once? Or does it not make a difference?

Happy to say I've been invited to an interview this week. Fully focused on it now.
