Very short sighted.
What about the extra 5 years of toiling on the streets when you are over 60? Or the thousands lost by retiring at 60?
What about D2Ds being absorbed into workload, losing £25 on average to most posties?
(these 2 have already been settled in the background of this deal I assure you)
What about being at the beck and call of a manager for your starting and finishing times?
What about inflation which is running at 4.5% a year? We would need over a 9% pay rise over 2 years to keep up with the cost of living.
What about a flexible working system that will assign a workload and a time frame for it all decided by a manager?

At least on this site, you can put your point of view, even if you get slagged off. On the other RM site(Postmanchat) if you disagree with the Admin guy you get banned.

I've never felt the need to look at that site. We have enough management stooges, suckholes and fifth columnists coming on here trying to undermine the union.

As for the poll and how many votes,i was gonna make a comment in the actual thread about it.
Just looking at me stats we've had over 1600 people log on to the site since THAT poll went up.
It's in probably the most important forum at the moment and the forum is well named and so is the thread.
But i guess it's like the members as a whole when any ballot/vote is out,a lot of them just don't bother!!!
It's ALWAYS a low turn out,even our last one which was a BIGGEN was low ffs!!!

Funny thing is Royal Mail used that to say the 77% yes was a false figure and that the majority hadn't voted for it

That is not the only statistic that is open to interpretation. Those on this and other forums are obviously of a like mind and there is a bias toward one inclination or t'other. We, on this forum, have a tendency to be anti RM and pro union, despite the disparaging remarks over this deal, the other forum has a predominantly pro RM anti union stance. Therefore the views are going to reflect that. As I am banned from the other site does anyone know if there is a pro/anti deal poll on there
