Also do I need to have a medical? I'm sure I read it somewhere.

You can check online your certificate but u just have to wait to hear back from RM.

Status on your profile! I dont think your too far behind me, when did u get the letter? I got mine on the 19th and my status date changed on the 23rd.

Also unsure about the medical but I don’t think so

Thanks, I've just found this all of the waiting quite hard. I applied for the job on the 25th of April, I received the letter on the 25th

Davyj15 have you heard any more yet as seems like your dates were very Like mine ? Jacko did u get a date yet ? I emailed yester for update but no response yet

Not got a date yet, I will email on email to ask if they haven’t let me know by then! I’m going to say to my job I can stay for longer if they want me to

Hi, no nothing , I emailed them again today to ask for an update, but no reply as of yet.

My details were submitted to DBS on 29 May. I rang them on Monday (4th) and they confirmed checks completed and certificate issued that day. Sending 2nd class to RM. Received letter from DBS today, set up online account to confirm, and indeed it was all done on 4th. Just gotta wait for RM to receive the cert now and get back to me.

Got a reply to my email they have my dbs back and are looking for a date for me to attend induction and will be in touch at least I know now just got to wait for a date didn’t receive letter from dbs though

Great news, I have seen where people have started and then had an induction day afterwards, could be worth asking depending on how long you now have to wait for one to be arranged.

Your in the same boat as me, I’ve being waiting since last Friday...just wish I knew how long this wait would be

I have yet to give my notice in was waiting for formal offer does anyone know roughly how long they give u for a start date ?

They take into account your notice period. I just handed mine in early
