Ahh wow Tezza I’m so happy for you,bet you can’t wait. I hope you are right but the strange thing is it still says employment checks.
No I didn’t t hear anything back jacko,they quite often don’t reply on the Monday

Thanks, yeh im raring to go i cant wait. yeah mine still said employment checks until today when i got my offer so id say thats normal for it to still say that really. Good luck i hope you hear soon, hopefully this week.

I’m really struggling at work as being made redundant and having no job to go to is so hard,it’s getting me upset all the time. I really hope we hear something soon jacko

Has everyone had this letter you get from dbs with tracking number?

Hi, I’m sure everything is fine, you will hear soon, try not to worry! I had a response to my email today....

Unfortunately we have not yet heard back from DBS regarding the result of your security check and therefore cannot yet discuss a start date.

A recent issue regarding the return of these checks has been resolved and we expect most outstanding checks to be returned this week.

We will be in touch as soon as we can confirm and arrange a start date with you.

So I’m taking it that it won’t be long now!

O wow at least you have a reply, I wonder what the problem with the checks has been and if that has affected us both? I haven’t heard back after sending them my certificate on Saturday,I might leave it until next week and then email for an update.
It’s just playing on my mind I think as work is getting so hard now having to give my job up and say goodbye to so many people. Thank you for all your help and support

Hi, no idea what the problem was but at least it’s resolved. We were probably both affected and that’s why it’s taken so long.

Your welcome, i understand what you are going through with all the changes and everything but you are so close now...I’m sure you will hear back this week....

Yay my status has changed today to pre employment checks got email last Wednesday to say they were being submitted how long does it take for the dbs letter to come ?
