Awaiting Interview Result

Hey All
It's been 4 weeks now since my interview and no result yet. When I contacted recruitment a couple of weeks ago, they advised that the interview paperwork had not yet been received from the interviewing manager. The following week I asked about applying for roles at other DO's but was advised that I probably wouldn't be considered as I was already in the interview process awaiting the outcome. Since then, I have been chasing them up but no response. This is an unusually long time isn't it? Does anyone know if recruitment would chase up the DOM for the paperwork? This is very frustrating as I could either move on if I've failed, or apply for other positions if put on the waiting list. I'm assuming of course that by now the successful candidate has been advised.

Hi, I waited over 6 weeks before finding out my interview result for the same reason you have been given. They told me they were regularly chasing up the missing paperwork. Hope your hear soon !

Oh, well that still gives me some hope. I wish they would tell me they are chasing things up though. Thanks for your reply.

Received a congratulations email this morning. Progressing to security checks. Very happy.

Prepare for a long wait, my security checks are still being done and I got that same email as u on 16th April

My DBS is now complete! Yay just got to wait to hear back from RM now!
