How does the link work?
I am on the waiting list, I am right in thinking that you click on the "link" apply for the job you want and the ignore the email asking for your email. And then just wait?
I did this for a job advertised in December, I clicked the “link” and then the job three times as you don’t seem to get any confirmation that you have applied. I got three automated emails asking for my email which I ignored.
Having not had any response I emailed HR through the candidate profile page and have been told the position has been filled by another waiting list candidate and that my application is not on my profile.
So did I not apply properly?

From the email I received from myapplication@romailmail.com:
Read their email carefully, it`s pretty much clear what are the steps. Good luck :)
I think you should apply via that link (https://jobs.royalmailgroup.com/go/Oper ... aitingList#" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and follow all the steps but don`t do the online tests again. I don`t fully understand what email are you reffering to?Do I have to complete the only tests or attend an assessment again?
No, for all similar roles (delivery, processing and collections) you have already passed our assessment process and will not be required to complete this again while on our waiting list. Please disregard the automated email request for you to complete online tests.

Ignore the online tests and wait to see if you have passed the interview.

This is the email I received
On this occasion we are unable to offer you the position you applied for as there were other higher scoring candidates. However, you did reach the standard required to pass the interview and your name has therefore been added to our waiting list for a period of 3 months from the date of this e-mail.
If you haven’t done so already, we recommend that you take advantage of our e-mail job alert service, to ensure you receive notification of our latest vacancies.
This link is only valid for the duration of your waiting list period (3 months).
It is important that you use the link provided in this email and not the link that is included in any vacancy alert emails, as using this link to apply will ensure your application is considered before other applicants.

Yes, so you have to apply only through their blue link and don`t complete the online tests again.
If you did that already that`s great, just apply to as many jobs as you can in your area and hopefully you will get one.

Just to check, when you click the link do you get the operational roles page or your candidate profile?

OMG I feel so stupid. I have been clicking the link via email on my phone which takes you to the operational roles page. From there I applied for the position I wanted which generated an automated email, asking for my email, that I presumed was the one to ignore. It turns out that if you click the link on a computer it takes you to your profile page instead!
The whole recruitment system is way more complicated then it needs to be.
