Hi I am also waiting too I had email on 24/4 saying I will be going through security checks then last Friday got email to submit dvla code not herd nothing since have you submitted your dvla code yet ?

hi I submitted my code the same day of the email which was 24th April, then I had an email asking for a photo and saying security checks being submitted on the 30th. It’s just a waiting game, I have emailed them several times for DBS red number so I can chase it but had zero response so far.

My online status has just said in progress since the 24/4 and has not yet changed is this normal ?

Mine changed to pre-employment checks when I got the email to send a photo

My online status has said ‘in progress’ since I submitted the 5 year history etc on the 27th April. I did chase a couple of days ago, but the reply just said thanks for the information and it will be processed by the team and they will get back to me if they need anything else. From that I suspect the checks might not even have been submitted yet !

Phoned DBS today. My checks were completed today (submitted last Tuesday) so pleased with that. Certificate on its way to RM (second class post!) So hopefully get a start date next week.

Hello,

I am new to the Royal Mail Chat and not sure how to post individually. I'm sorry for barging in on this conversation! I am going into my 7th week now of the recruitment process. I have had confirmation of passing my DBS and that photo ID has been received, but, still no official offer from RM apart from the Step 6 with the conditional offer. How long should I be looking at waiting to hear? Thank you so much for any information.

I heard that I passed security checks on the 1st of June...still waiting

Got my official offer of employment today, induction on the 2nd of July and starting on the 3rd.

From the email requesting my DVLA code to the security checks being completed took an incredible 8 days.

Congratulations! I got my start date today, mines the 9th July!
