DBS checks

Hi everyone

Does anyone know roughly how long the DBS checks take please? Mine was submitted last Tuesday but is still showing as pending on the police record checks

Hi Samantha,

My DBS checks were submitted last Monday and it says all were completed on the same day but im still waiting to hear any more since. Im hoping next week is the week i get a start date. Its been a long wait and definitely a long Bank holiday

Hi guys,
I’ve just emailed to ask for my tracking number but I had the email last Monday saying my security checks have now being submitted and status changed to pre employment checks. Hoping they email me back tommorow with the tracking number!

Hi Jacko,
Hope you hear back from them soon. i never emailed them for mine i got a DBS application letter with tracking number on it thru the post from the DBS themselves.

Hopefully next week is when things progress to the final stages for us all

it's dated 30th April but came around 2nd May

Hiya I received my tracking number the same day but was submitted on the 1st and still is showing as in progress so I might ring them today to chase it. As I have never had a letter

I just rang about my dbs check and they said it can take up to 3 weeks at the moment

I called about my dbs check yesterday as u know and today it’s showing that it’s completed online on my tracking number so I would call them x

Hi, I would call them but I haven’t got a tracking number! I have emailed RM twice but no response! Has your online status changed on candidate profile?

Hiya no my status hasn’t changed but I’m not sure that my check has gone through fully yet as the certificate hasn’t been produced x

Could you tell me the email address you emailed, I have tried two with no success, I’ll try again today! What did u actually say in it? It’s looking promising for you though!

I literally just said could I please have my dbs check reference number please so I can chase it and they emailed me straight back with it. Mine has totally gone through now and says my certificate has been completed so yours may have to. If I hear anything from the Royal Mail I will let you know ASAP
