please explain bitter why ?

Lazy posties moaning about people doing overtime and earning more money than them.
its got f**k all to do with that ,oh and I'm not lazy and far from it , its all about posties working there contracted paid hours like any normal job , how many more companies would pay staff while there sat at home ? its not rocket science id go for none .
But what about when people do more in their contracted hours than somebody who is rubbish? Is it then fair for them both to be paid the same amount?
what do you class as rubbish ?

You may be waiting a while for your utopia to arrive, dingo said in the union room the group's set up to roll the PDA actual usage for resourcing out have been stood down because the union and royal mail can't agree on how it will be used. A few people in the trial areas have said that the managers have been challenging people who regularly claim or cut off using the data so that might point to what the actuals will be used for. Not just to stop people ghosting and going home 30 minutes early
where is that in the union room ? as part of the agreement it isn't a tool to conduct people etc , simple.

In the PDA data capture thread where dingo said that. The other stuff has been on the Facebook chat page. If you believe that they won't use it as a way to cut excess overtime down and to stop cutting off you are deluded. The union won't have a say in it unless you are in a strong office and are all willing to stand together.

Too many staff dragging rounds out to get overtime in my office as well. If they claim an hour or hour and half everyday (which they do) or more that's like working their day off each week. And don't come back with, they might be doing the job properly etc. Because they claim the same amount on the same days every week. Hiw is that possible in a job where the work varies so much day to day? It doesn't add up. So what's worse, people doing extra work because they are quick and being paid for it or people doing what I've said above? I know which managers prefer people doing, especially when they've not got enough staff and duties to get out

Some people just have a faster working pace and have a crack on with it attitude, this inevitably means they will be finished before someone who walks slower, uses trolleys, takes breaks, chats to people and generally is slower at the job.

This is just the way it is,why do people care if they go home after the job is complete? The job is done! And i do not agree that if your fast then your making mistakes, you can work at a fast pace and get everything bang on as many in my office do every day.Bitterness is certainly an issue here i agree with that 100%,some people need to worry about themselves more and stop moaning.

My workplace has over 120 duties. Not one single duty uses a trolley.

So how are they mandatory?

Too lazy to look into why ? I'll help.

Its the assigned equipment for the loop that is mandatory. So on some loops, it's the bag on shoulder method, if they didn't have straps you couldn't use them.

Because we accepted the agreement that said they were?

What it means is managers will leave you alone till something goes wrong. Then as part of the investigation into the root cause, you can bet they'll ask if you were using the assigned mandatory equipment.

Obeying the speed limit is mandatory, but people break that all the time. As long as the speeder and the runner understand the consequences if caught it doesn't detract from the fact that it is still mandatory.

Totally contradicting yourself here. I sometimes get called a “runner” I can assure you I’ve never once been running.

Actually if you read the words of the agreement it doesn't say that at all.
In fact it says under certain circumstances they can use it for conduct purposes but nowhere does it stipulate what those circumstances are.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Your snip of my post made your assertion confusing. So I'll post it again

Where did I contradict myself? I'll explain, the actions of people don't change the fact that something is mandatory.
