I've personally have not heard that they've stopped.
But the problem nowadays is and it's just like one of my guys at my place is there are NO full time places available so you HAVE to normally loose hours.
My guy can't move because of it!
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

transfer are still on going but you have to wait it only took me 12 years to transfer onto my driving section and i put in for a reserve on the tpo when i was a alr but iv gave up on that lol

Someone wanting to transfer from our place was told he had no chance unless he retracted his grievance against the manager. And they say they take bullying and harassement very seriously within royal mail :d'oh!

But they do take bullying & harassment very seriously within RM. If you can't bully & harass to the required standard, you don't get to be a DUM. Simple!!! :wink:

I think you can retain your seniority as well if you move anywhere.

you can still transfer and you take your seniority with you(way forward), but things like attendance and conduct are considered. I think it's up to the DUM who's office you want to go to.
