The lies,the lies.

Post by POSTMAN »

Competition's mentioned,competition's always mentioned.

"Our customers will got to the competition if we strike and they will never come back" LIES!!!!

Our customers are already going to our competitors NOW! a strike will not make any difference.

Just curious Al and Ad who's gonna deliver the stuff!
And to our customers, who do you think delivers the stuff!

First of all, thanks to Postman for uploading these videos, :Applause
It's given me and my wife chance to see what the two idiots said.

Frankly, I feel that Leighton should be severely reprimanded for his language on an official video. It is totally inappropriate and I wonder what the public would think if they watched this video as he supposedly represents RM.

Secondly, he goes on about the shares and not getting any money as rewards for working harder, does he think we are thick. Like people have said, if we accepted this nonsense, then people would loose shift allowances, they would have lost D2D payments before the union negotiated this out, we stand to loose pay as you would have to take out extra work for your colleagues who are sick or on leave, this would have been overtime but we will have to do it as duty to make the savings, etc, etc. It is not a bonus scheme it is an idiotic approach by two out of touch senior managers who's wages a week quite frankly make me sick and they have the Gall to say we are overpaid!!! :so there

And the wife would like to add.....
With regards pensions, it is RM's fault that the pensions are in the state they are. It should not be up to us to make up the pension defeciate. Are we not right in thinking that the government has told RM it is up to them to sort it out not to place the burden at our doorsteps?

Also part timers would not even see the £800 as it would be pro rota. There having a laugh :d'oh!

Thats two of the most sickening videos ive ever seen, to watch two overpaid arrogant t**ts like that telling us about sacrifices, didnt these two sing the same song 4 years ago, when they told us we had to lose 2nd delivery and lose 45,000 jobs for the company to survive, and if we accept another 40,000 job losses in another 4 years time they will come back for more, Lieghton talks about dinosours what bullying and intimidation by managers, isnt that something thats prehistoric, and if not ought to be, what about executives being paid life changing ammounts of money whilst asking its workforce to accept a pittance of a pay offer and you might lose your jobs, any VR that we get will be a small ammount compared to the pay off them two gits get if they leave RM, watching them two really makes my blood boil, the last time the CWU lost a strike vote the RM negotiators came into the room and threw the rule book at the CWU representitives saying that they could tear that up, in other words RM thought they could do what they want, when are these two overpaid arrogant t**ts going to learn that the CWU are us they represent our views so dont f***ing talk to us talk to them..UNITY IS STRENGTH.

:Boo hoo! Just watched the two videos from start to finish and have to say "BULLSHIT" Do thes two morons think that we are stupid. Nobody wants to go on strike but these idiots are forcing the ballot by the way they and other senior managment have handled the situation. It's time to stand up and be counted and send a clear message to messers Crozier and Leighton that we have had enough.

hi, i saw the leighton video in our office, but i have just watched his cronies video now.just looking at their body language you can see they are both reading the same script!!! win,win would be lose, lose for us! i just hope that a yes vote is carried and the union has the balls( for once) to get stuck into this pair of asset strippers. what has to be remembered is we have supported you before, only for a watered down version of managements wishes to come in anyway! ie sdd,the way forward to name but two. i think the union really is in danger of losing support in a big way if they accept any of the managements crazy ideas. vote yes!!! regards dongash opg :no no  :Confused

these videos are a total farce. i knew they were thick, but if they really beleive this crap will wash with us then they are having a laugh. its just a shame the union is non existant in my office, everyone cuts the job up and loves it. i for one have put one massive yes vote in my ballot. i cant even convey how much leighton makes my blood boil. my manager said this morning "the customer is our number one priority". i just laughed out loud, the only thing they prioritise is £££. how about you and crozier take a paycut and only take home a few hundred thousand a year? im off before i explode in an angry violent protest! im still a newbie here so hello to you all also!

It makes me laugh too that they still say it is about quality. The quality in our mail has gone. They are prepared to put quality at risk if it saves a few pounds. For example under the pay offer they want to reduce weekend work so that it saves money but what about the mail that will not be processed. They want to divide walks up between people if people are off, does this not delay the mail to our customers and increase the possibility of miss delivery. They want to reduce people driving 600 vehicles again to save money but this will mean that the mail will arrive later in our office thus, it will be later sorted and the higer possibility of a huge cut off because it is not sorted in time.

Quality, pah, what quality!!!!! All's they see these days is £ signs. I think A & A's wages have gone to thier heads and alls they dream about now is £'s not quality.

indeed

i completely agree. to me the number one thing people want is their mail as quickly and efficiently as possible. they do not want it at 2 oclock in the afternoon. that is not quality. A & A are living in a different reality. they do not give a hoot about us, the people who make Royal Mail tick over. and soon they will find to their cost that is something they really should care about.

He mentions Dinosaurs and strikes are a thing of the 70's well what about executive action that is in real terms the same as a strike.
And when we did strike last it did not take long for you to s**t your pants and come up with the great SDD deal!!
