Today we had the area managers secrertary throwing off a walk,
can anyone beat that? A cleaner or a cook perhaps.

Yeah, & some people take the p1ss!!

Postmen work to their own speed if it isn't up to scratch it is up to a manager to call it - not a colleague. That's what they are paid for!

I wasn't talking about the speed, the accuracy of the sorting is appalling, on the IPS and the frames.

What I'm talking about (worst example) is a mate of the DUM, scab, smallest round in the office. He throws 1 letter in to my 3, doesn't sort, just preps his own. When he's finished prepping his round he walks round the sorting frames every 5 minutes picking up a couple of letters, throws them in, again & again. When he's bored with that, he'll go off for a chat with the PHG or go & make himself a cuppa. Then stands up in WTLL & says there's no teamwork any more!!! As I said, some people take the piss!!!
DUM won't do anything!

for the first time in 20 years, i was unable to finish my delivery yesterday. had to pick kids up from school. didn't leave the office till 11 20am, thing is i was not last out. all of rm is f*****d up if ask me. ps the mail is down and we are loosing buisness. so who else is delivering this s**t, ihave not seen anyone.

Jack you are dead right with your comment. Stroll around our office and you will see 15 full timers ( if you are REALLY lucky) sorting on the IPS from 6am..At the same time you will find DOUBLE that amount throwing out their own walks. But the real p**s take is saturday when the 'CAKE MAN' sets up his stall in the canteen!!!!! So while 15 of us are working our bo***x off ( and whatever the girls work off too) these idle b***ARDs are not only on their frames but stuffing victoria sponge down their gobs as well!!!

Even the line managers admit we need MORE sorters but when our DOM strolls in at 7.30 every day what f****n chance have you got

have more people throwing in walks than sorting at our place loads of sick some have left and no new starters only part time ones failed every day this week so far.

Yeh we did have a cleaner put out the D2D's on a sat morn... And once at xmas chucked a walk off....

I picked his broom up and started sweeping all the shite around him and then told the screws he was making a mess....

Didnt go down to well..

AHHHHH FECK EM!!! DOM was out of order and Unit Rep was upstairs making teas n toast in his club he had going....

Didnt want to upset him now did i????

BOLLOX MORE LIKE....

Needless to say i was never asked to be in the tea n toast club...

one of the new 24 hour contracts blokes came in today to find his walk was not even thrown up for him!!!!!!! not his fault but theres just not enough of us!!! especially with carrying 16 full time vacancies!!!!

even with the sector manager there magic could not happen, were you playing patience on that laptop ????
