BigDaz, the budget is also "flexible" therefore the managers can manipluate the figures to say anything. It's only at the end of the financial year you can get a true reflection of your office. I keep all budget reports and paperwork and compare what it was like the previous tax year.

coming in early/for free!! my office.

Post by dongash »

hi, our office in macclesfield sk10/sk11 has got rid of ALL NIGHTS!!!! they were not needed "as there is more and more mech mail" according to management. within a week of the nights going they introduced 4am starts (for the select few) not even at scheduled rate!!! the lad who opens up at 4am says there are people waiting to get in already!! these people are going through the yorks looking for mech mail!! one of the lads has christened them"loading bay rats". our office has appx 150 postpeople, 60+ town walks, 30+rural delys, 10 firms delys, appx 25 postman who deliver to the smaller towns nearby. we have a manager who is approachable, but you feel he is being pressurised from above. the area dom has brought in 5hour attendances for working your day off! he is somewhat taken aback that people don't want to work for 5hrs (less tax etc) the last manager ruled with intimidation! he played games with our cwu rep! not answering letters etc.our rep is a genuine bloke who does his best and the majority of the lads are behind him.we had a 24hr walkout a couple of weeks ago over a postman (who is on dialysis) being suspended for wilfull delay, even though he had told a manager he couldn't complete his dely to time!!! the area manager stood up and said "there was no case to answer" so we went back to work. today he has received a 2 year serious! to go with his stage one for his sickness received earlier in the week!! regards dongash(opg) :no no :so there  :Confused    VOTE YES TO SAVE OUR JOBS!!!!

Image donqash mate, this type of disgusting, immoral behaviour by the SLIME is going on all over the country.Image In Stoke we had a guy recovering from cancer issued with a stage 1 Luckily his Rep and mates have got some bottle so a quick walkout soon put things back to rights,Image but what if he'd been in a unit with no Rep.Image And they can't understand why we feel the way we do. GOOD LUCK to your mate hope he don't feel too down about this. --------------Stuff like this makes me LOOK KWAK IN ANGER ImageImageImage

When i did the SDD revision 3 years ago we scrapped nights (3 very ineffecient duties due to the duty structure rather than the workers) yet when we had finished the planning we ended up with a + 1 increase in the amount of duties in the office due to to majority of duties being six day week and having to put in place floaters to cover the increase in 5v day weeks.

We were very carefull with the IPS and were able to prove to the doubting thomases that the IPS hours were being increased!

managers/acting list managers

Post by dongash »

hi, just a point i would like to mention, at our office most of the management is made up of "failed postman" ie no good at the job! the ones on the acting list are moved around the area to perform s**t tasks that the regular managers don't want to do! regards dongash opg :nana :Very Happy  :dance :wave
