It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

ICS supplement

Post by hackedoff »

I cant remember exactly how it worked but it was related to meeting performance targets on the 1 class 2 class and ms3 combined with a clear office policy every day. If you succeeded for x amount of weeks you got an ICS supplement. Each D.O was seperate so you may get it and the bloke in the next postcode area wouldn't. Bloody complicated and hard to get. We lose that and they deserve zero compliance and zero goodwill :evil/mad

ICS

you will get the same now because when the system was running as long as you 'made the grade' for enough weeks it was guaranteed to you at the same rate for as long as they wished to give it to you. The only thing that can change it now is for some reason losing a percentage of it for striking or if the basturds decide to stop it completely :wave

I have to correct you, TrueBlueTerrier.

The 92p PBS payment is supposed to be compensation for our Pensions Being Stolen :mad

PBS (Productivity Bonus Scheme).
ICS (Interim Consolidated Scheme).

From the other site
it was the supplement that was paid if you lost anything under PBS (Productivity Bonus Scheme). I can't remember the exact details but some people were very slightly worse off under PBS, as opposed to ICS (Interim Consolidated Scheme)
