That is one of the most desperate diatribes I've read in this dispute. One detects management's cosy little niche collapsing around them under the weight of reasoned debate. Their only response, as always, is to blame the people who do the work, not their clan leaders who manage the job so ineptly. Bitter, misguided, irrational and extreme. Never been to that site before, and I won't again.
Precisely. That is why we went on strike and want to stop changes that will harm the service.I have never yet met a postal worker that didn't care about the job they do or wasn't prepared to go that extra furlong to help a customer.

Sun of internet forums
watch yourself you'll get banned by SA & SLF , I'm sure those two have framed & signed pictures of :lfo & :cfo on their sideboards. It's amazing that some of those parcel companies haven't had more accidents . RM has a good policy on paper but compliance is dreadful, that's why they were threatened with investigation. The rule book can be thrown back and it's hardly surprising with those attitudes from on high & subordinates.BoltonPostie wrote:Somebody has even pulled them up for it on that other pro management site.
But we are all militants anyway and lollypop men/women have a harder job.

So Hellmail bosses don't worry about H&S for their employee's, so perhaps some H&S people should go around to their work places, and make sure all H&S regs are being kept to, the public and bosses can't have it always, they want us to be off sick less, they want H&S rules for their protection, but when someone actually use the laws as laid down its wrong. Of course they could try and get their post delivered by someone else, ah but nowone else wants to do it.

You're only right mate! I seldom look at that site, but norbet has a knack of highlighting laughable articles which appear on there from time to time, so I thought I would give it a go. It's directly from the William Martin Murphy school of condescending crap. Obviously Nomark White has been asked to pen this piece by someone in Royal Mail, and like a good little boy has done as he has been told. I'll be continuing to do the job properly. Anyone racing in around in a car and with overweight bags and starting work before the official time is the 'chump'. The rest of us are all 'champs'. As for being a 'militant', guilty as charged, and bloody well proud of it. So people are leaving the CWU in droves? Don't you worry about that Nomark White. There will be enough of us left in to make sure that the next time we're out the door on strike, those you work for will still have to rely on lies to the press about the numbers of strike breakers crossing the line, and the backlog will still take weeks and weeks to clear. People are leaving the CWU because the leadership aren't militant enough, not because they think the sun shines out of the arses of Leighton and Crozier, as you do.trythat wrote:So Hellmail bosses don't worry about H&S for their employee's, so perhaps some H&S people should go around to their work places, and make sure all H&S regs are being kept to, the public and bosses can't have it always, they want us to be off sick less, they want H&S rules for their protection, but when someone actually use the laws as laid down its wrong. They've got something wrong on there , Lindsay Hoyle is not a she , He is the MP for Chorley , too Blairite for me but he's had that once true blue seat since 97 , getting Den Dover out .IWW Fellow Worker wrote:You're only right mate! Mark White, if you're reading this -- you're a fugging c*nt!
And to think I used to post stuff on Hellmail's (now deceased) forums.
P.S. Libel is one thing, but if I could seek the legality of your article and secure a republishing of this article with an apology I would.
