PAY SLIP TODAY!

Post by POSTMAN »

I s**t meself,it had bout 67 spondoolies as Net Pay!!!
Had only been payed for 16 hrs and in the message box it had the Pay Abated official IA no pay malarkey in it!
As my head was spinning, for the life of me i could not work out where the date was so i could check if there was a mistake

Anyways it's the missing payslip a lot have talked about on here 12/10 07 :d'oh!
Do you think it was a deliberate 'give 'em a heart attack' ploy from up the road!! bastards!
So where's this weeks then? :hmmmm
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

POSTMAN,
Hope you've got over the shock now

I've got my wage slip this week, my husband hasn't. I got a CWU letter this morning, my hubby didn't!

Obviously still a few problems with mail coming through, then.

Why do you do overtime? work to rule mate, go in on your start time, take your full meal relief, tie up and leave your office at the right time and dont use your car (if you got one). I can understand part time staff need more money so i would say (and i dont want to sound like a twat) get another job that gives your full time. DONT DO THE OVERTIME LET YOUR DUM WORRY ABOUT IT THEN RM WILL APPRICIATE WHAT WE DO FOR THEM!!!!

Hang on a mo...

I remember receiving two payslips this week; one for the abated industrial action, which I received earlier in the week, and my regular payslip which I received this afternoon.
We posties do things differently, but we still get shot at!

Agree with most of that but not to stop people doing overtime why should they?
They have lost a few hundred pounds in this dispute and whilst there is no IA they should do their job properly but that does not mean an overtime ban.
For the record i do not do overtime.

Royal Mail can not run the business without overtime.
WE proved that with the strike.
