Fire Brigade Drop Key

Agree to disagree. But to call something like a burglary or something worse, when the Police may want to know who has a key to get access, is not childish nonsense. It was only MY opinion. There is no need to buy any form of tradesman key just so it makes your life easier. Just bring it back.

We use them at our place.
By using them the job gets done and save a bit of nuisance for our customers and tbf us.
As mentioned there 'could' be possible problems but personally at our place it does not cross our minds.
They are under £3

at AMAZON btw!

Or as happened in one case I woke up a midwife who had been on night shift and had lost 2 babies that night.

Using a key is no different to using the trades entrance. It just lets you in without the hassle.
It doesn't mean you are a burglar.

Tru: you have to Buzz every flat you have something for, you hve to wait for each buzz else the Cust's start getting irate, when you've got twenty flats - that takes time, a lot of time, especially if nobody's home, a lot of wasted time.

As for the Burglar Bill argument, sometimes you buzz, and get buzzed in without ever speaking. And Burglar Bill might easily have a drop key, he can get them for £3 on Amazon as well.

A customer gave me one of these keys, it was great i got access to every block in town. Sadly it snapped after about 3 years

Won’t say too much due to obvious reasons but let’s just say I have seen a fire inspector giving a dom a grilling for letting staff use these keys. One got stuck in the panel on the estate.

The DOM should have told the Fire Inspector to stick to putting fires out while we stick to delivering the mail.
