Pre poll poll : How are you voting 'now'.

Ever since the details leaked out and now we all know the full implications of this agreement and have digested it regurgitated and had a congregation on here about it would it be a YES or NO.

POSTMAN EDIT: Have put this back as some of you had already voted in it, and seeing as the reps meetings will still be going on till March we will use this poll as a pre poll for you to vote how you feel now , and when the ballot opens and after the reps briefings and work meetings we will see how you feel then.

Thanks POSTMAN but as you say as a pre poll poll as more and more details come to light it will be interesting to compare at the end of the day it's a bit like the pre BREXIT polls on the networks wonder if it would be likewise!

not seen anything at work or on here to suggest its worth voting for
seems to be there hiding it away as if people read it they will vote no
if it is great then why is it not being publicised

It is, they posted it in an LTB which is on this site, they also posted it on the Unions website.

They have also have produced videos, and have had briefs for Area Reps. They will be having briefs for Area and Local reps and no doubt will be having meetings for the membership as well. Of course, all of that is pro the agreement which is why we posted it here so people can read it for themselves.

as an addition, I also hope everyone reads it with an open and clear mind, don't be influenced by anyone. Not your mate on the next frame, not by me, not by others on RMC and not by the Union as a whole.

I much rather have an agreement I disagreed with voted through by people who have read and understood it and realise the implications of accepting it, than one that is voted through on nod by sheeples who said their branch/rep recommended it. The ones who go by branch/rep recommendations tend to come on here asking if RM is allowed to do such and such and are devasted when they find they can.

At least if you read the agreements you have a fighting chance of mitigating any damage that managers chancing their arms may cause, because you can be certain they'll have read it and will be looking for loopholes.

I think the RM propaganda stream is about to start flowing. I think you can ask your DOM and they will print out a copy of the agreement for you to read.

Personally I would vote NO not on the pay raise or pension changes but the other trial type stuff. The NHDC could be used to facilitate everyone being paid correctly for the hours they work rather than not getting fully paid but I fear it will be used for something else. RM sounds like they are possessed by the idea of stopping us sorting the mech into our sorting frames and that it will somehow save time - it won't !! Thirdly and final the trials on timed windows for tracked parcels could make the job really difficult especially if they decided on one hour time windows.
