I finally start this Thursday! and I have my induction Wednesday!
just a few questions:
how do I order some uniform?
I haven't got my contract yet in the post, what should I do? do I need it for the induction?
what should I wear to the induction day?
Uniform will be sorted out after you've been there a while.
Not sure about the contract but you can ask at the induction day.
Anything sensible can be worn for the induction day.
If you phone the help line on Monday 0800 7315137 your basic uniform should be @ your office on Thurday, wear whatever you like on your induction day you'll be sitting around a table all day the first 3 hours being told all about "watch & win" shan't spoil it for you just try stay awake, union bloke then turns up trying to get you to sign up, lunch break, take a packed lunch & drink, second half ticking boxes identifying types & best postage opinions for different types of mail, diversity in the workplace, dogs, weather etc. Have fun

TY. Been asking managers for 2 years now and each manager encountered a problem. Ive worked there 2 years and never ordered anything so they suspended my account. The number you gave helped me sort it all out and now i can place the order online myself from now on.

I did this haha. Got my basic entitlement then never ordered anything for two and a half years not really thinking about it. I needed some stuff and they'd deleted me off the system when I asked the gaffers to check!
To be fair, the only thing you need is the big hi viz waterproof which I got in my first week because somebody gave me a brand new one they didn't want. I've got all the stuff now and virtually never wear any of it.
