RM runs on unpaid work/slave labour. It has done for as long as I can remember.

Time starting, time finishing, type of outdoor work, type of indoor work (though with location by GPS and 4G they know now anyway).
To log a starting time someone is gonna have to get there early to put everyone's PDA into their frames so the first job we do is log on. Then do we all hand them back to the locker to be put on charge till we go out on delivery? It'll be mayhem!

Nope. They just need to have you log-in with the PDA still in the cradle, use a finger scanner (paired up with a PDA) and scan any barcodes. The finger scanners would just be used with the PDAs for the indoor stuff

why would anybody want to hide what they are doing inside or out ? I'm all for it if your duty is to big so let them see it , happy days :thumbup , and if people want to start early and not take breaks or use the methods to get finished before there time then this should put a stop to it , and about time :Very Happy

That would require a ballot for "Other Industrial Action not including a strike", and why would they ballot for something they already recommend.

Our line manager has more or less said a hour less per week will in reality mean starting 12 minutes later each day but still with the same workload.
On what planet is this even acceptable? How can the union even contemplate this? Bullying and harassment will go through the roof.
And yes, before anyone says "we have a finish time", I know that, but some managers do not take no for an answer and will lie, cheat and do anything to drop anyone that stands up for themselves in it.

My DOM said we would start 30 mins later on Tuesday and Saturday.
RM have cancelled our early delivery anyway on these days due to driver shortages so wont make any difference but I will still cut off at my finish time
