I don't want to be negative about the SWW or the pay deal but I am having nightmares that we may suddenly wind up doing 8 or 9 loops a day to make up for lost indoor workloads - with additional lapsing on top!!
to true , but they can try to lapse , but if you don't have time its goodbye :wave and leave it to the runners and the early starters .

I wonder what the impact is on SPDOs. They already start much later 8.30 to 9 ish . If they are put back 30 minutes you go to 9.00-9.30. On 7.hours 48 min per day, last letter is 16.48pm. earliest.

All very well to say if you have a full time contract but what if you are new part time but thing is we should all be treated with dignity and respect not used as pack horses of management and the bonus culture that has made the workplace such a toxic place and this culture can only be changed from the top down so without mentioning name's can the CEO give us an answer? If the culture will change by eradicating management bonuses and excessive pay whilst the many at the bottom are squeezed it's like the BBC the workers and some others are paid less so they hit targets while others are paid like footballers with less talent earn far more for less work. Till the culture changes a reduction in the working week a pay rise or two and a pension albeit with us paying more into it and any agreement on the pipeline are meaningless to the rank and file as we are overworked for the pittance we get paid in comparison!

without being negative we are going to be asked to vote on a pension deal that may take years to finalise and asked to vote on some offices finishing later personally I don't think there is enough detail

I think its a stich up, look beyond the money, it equates to nothing over the 3 years.

What worries me more is the first few pages of the agreement never mention Bullying or Harassment how can they change a culture when they cannot admit there is a problem in the first place as for nothing over three years may get 12% but work 36% harder and be berated at the same time!

For 1023 DO's they anticipate no change in last letter
For 123 DO's 0-15 mins extra
For 70 DO's 16-30 mins extra

Can we have a breakdown of which DO's please, I'm one of many on the school run pick up so it's important to know.

I have a quesiton, if im on part time contract but have done full time hours since april last year is my back pay only on my contractual hours? thats a bit of a stitch up in my eyes (if it is even the case) part timers seem to get a s**t ride. What with holiday pay hours etc.

No. Reading the agreement, which is available for everyone to do, the pay rise flows to overtime, allowances and supplements.

The answer is where you got the figures from, the list will be out as soon as.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

If the hourly rate increases when we go to 38 hours (2.6%) will that not take it close to or above the overtime rate?
What is the current OT rate?
