For a National Rate Postperson with a Delivery Supplement bass on 5% on basic and delivery supplement they will receive back pay based from October 2017 till the 1st week in April ie 26 weeks will be £566.80 . The exit point per week will be on basic £432.91 and Delivery Supplement will be £25.15
If we choose the 2.6% back dated option to April than on the basic and Delivery Supplement the back pay would be £589.16. However the exit rate on basic pay would be £423.01 and £24.58 on the Delivery Supplement .
Obviously as it flows through to SA , allowances and overtime individual sums will vary but this is based on basic and delivery supplement

For 1023 Delivery Offices there will be no change to finish times as a result of the LAT all be it they will have to introduce the SWW.gary1975 wrote:15:30 last letter, that will go down well in most offices
For 123 Offices they will move from 1 minute to 15 minutes and also introduce the hour off the working week.
For 70 Offices they will move from 16 mins up to 30 mins and also introduce the hour off the working week
For 51 Offices there would be a change of 31 to 45 but this is capped at 30 mins and will be overseen by National Level to see if this could be reduced.

Good post. But still probably pi**ing in the wind to reason with some. By the way my prediction over 80% yes vote in favour will be returnedfishtank wrote:If you earned 20k in a year a 2.5% pay rise would be worth £500.Northbynorthwest wrote:The pay is smoke and mirrors. It's effectively a pay freeze for 6 months, then a 5%rise for the next 18 months then 2% for the next 12. No one I have spoken to is very interested in the hour off the working week. Will prob be 12 minutes a day for most people
If you earned 10k in 6 months a 5% pay rise would be worth £500.
How much overtime did we do April to September?
How much did we do October to March?
What the difference an hour will make since the indoor work is shrinking is an hour less delivery a week than you would have done or one more full-time job in your office. What the whole SWW means is that by 2022 there might be more than 12 full-time staff left in delivery. If that doesn't interest "most people" I give up with RM staff.
This ain't no baseball game, you get only one chance and you blew it.

No I don't think so .....In recommending acceptance of the deal, the Postal Executive believe it is important to remember where we started and recognise the significant progress we have made during the course of our campaign. Initially, the Union was faced with the imposed closure of the Defined Benefit Royal Mail Pension Plan, serious and ongoing resourcing issues out in the field and a series of unacceptable proposals from the company, which included the end of traditional national pay bargaining and the introduction of productivity related pay, a two tier workforce, scrapping of all LEGACY PAYMENTS, cuts to sick pay and changes to our Agreements.
