We start half an hour earlier on a Tuesday just to acommodate this farce. Our section manager usually reads directly from the page infront of him. Judging by his delivery he hasn't read it beforehand and usually hasn't any answers for us once we've asked questions.

Thats my point mate- its part of your workin week, not somethin you give free time too, the dicks in charge tell us its mandatory to attend when theyve got shite to feed you, but when you demand a wtll session, they have got no news this week,

Take a book into Work Time Lying and sit there reading it while the screw goes over the crap on his printed notes. It's a good way of using the time profitably and it annoys the screw.

The half hour we come in early on the Tuesday for our WTL is given back to us on Saturday. We don't come in half an hour early in our own time.
Just in case I was missinterpreted.

WTL Sessions

Post by Wiltshireboy »

We used to get them, but our manager is split between 3 offices, so they seem to have died off a bit, cos shes hardly here.
Totally pointless, and a waste of time.Dont learn anything. She just reads out what shes been told from "on high".When we challenge or query stuff she says, she just goes in a strop, and we have wasted 45mins sorting time.
Well Done Royal Mail!!! :no no

Ours are great a half hour sat scratching my nuts while 30 lads abuse the jaffer, he walks out after about ten mins and we sit there to a man till the times up, it pisses him off and we have a good laugh. None of the lads fills anything in the last HAVE YOUR SAY, the lads just posted them back blank. It's all bollox and as long as everybody there knows that just enjoy it, remember it's there time.
