Hi, just joined this forum as I start as a postie tomorrow. Just have a couple of questions that I'm hoping someone can answer.
What are the chance of being giving a full time contract when the 24 months are up?
What would go towards securing a full time contract?
Thanks in advance.

Slim to be honest, but being taken on permanently is a strong possibility if you stay with RMhendrixstrat wrote:What are the chance of being giving a full time contract when the 24 months are up?.
A vacancy being advertised when a Ful Timer leaves, but its then offered on a seniority basis. Basically, time served is the best way to get a FT contract.hendrixstrat wrote:What would go towards securing a full time contract?.
No worries. However you state its a 24-month contract, are you sure normally new starts are on a Temporary contract of a few months, which then usually keeps rolling on.hendrixstrat wrote:Thanks in advance.
I have heard of 24-hour contracts, but not 24 months.
