driving licence for interview
hello people i was wondering if anyone had any advice for me. My job interview is on 20th February and on the email it says its a must that your driving licence is registered to your current address, well i have a slight problem of we have just moved house in the past month and currently renovating it and haven't currently sent off my licence for change of address.

Take it with you to interview, explain situation and apply to change licence address immediately after interview.

If you have time, get the address changed by the DVLA, send it today and you will have it back in 5 to 7 days.
If time has run out, bring it to the interview, with proof of your new address and get it done straight after. Your licence will be checked via the DVLA for points ect by the central HR team if you pass the interview.
Interviews are not too bad but nothing seems to progress afterward until all the bits requested are correct and ticked off.
Good luck

"You can be fined up to £1,000 if you don’t tell DVLA when your address changes" and "when" doesn't mean sometime later.steviep15 wrote:hello people i was wondering if anyone had any advice for me. driving licence for interview
Can I ask what the outcome was for this? I have an interview for a driving post position with Royal Mail. I too have a slight issue! I was never actually aware that you had to change your name after marriage on your driving license (I know naughty me) I have the correct address on my license just not the right name. Would I be able to take my license with me for the interview and then literally send the form of for change of name straight after or will I be sent away and not even be considered for interview because my details are wrong on my license? Im not sure whether to ring Royal Mail and ask to speak to the manager to ask if this would be ok? I am unable to do it today with it being bank holiday Monday. I’m going out of my mind and I don’t know what to do :( any info or past experience would be greatly appreciated :)
